My BIOWOL Organic Healing Wool is made from 100% Austrian sheep wool from certified organic farming. It is washed particularly gently, allowing some of the natural wool grease (lanolin) to remain in the fibres.
Healing wool has been used for generations as a traditional home remedy and for personal care. Its soft wool fibres can absorb moisture, are breathable and provide a pleasantly warming layer.

Traditional Uses
For babies and sensitive skin: Healing wool is traditionally used as a soft, moisture-absorbing layer, for example in the nappy area.
During breastfeeding: As a soft wool pad inside the bra, particularly for sensitive nipples.
For ears and neck: As a pleasantly warming layer, for example held in place by a headband or tucked into a scarf.
For the chest and back: As a warming wool layer or part of a traditional wrap.
For joints and muscles: As a soft, warming layer placed on the desired areas of the body.
My Additional Tip: Reuse Healing Wool in the Garden
My organic healing wool does not necessarily have to be thrown away after use. Provided it is clean and free from contamination, you can also reuse it in your garden.
Sheep wool can be used as mulch around plants or incorporated into the soil. As it slowly decomposes, it releases nutrients. Wool can also retain moisture and help improve soil structure.
