Giving Austrian Sheep Wool a Purpose Again
Today, locally sourced sheep wool is only rarely used in Austria. This wonderful natural material, with all its beneficial properties, is often discarded or used merely as insulation material. At the same time, cheap wool is imported from abroad, frequently produced using highly questionable practices (such as mulesing, extensive pesticide spraying, etc.). With BIOWOL, I would like to help change this situation and give our local sheep wool back the value it truly deserves.
Sustainable Organic Products from Austria
My organic natural products are made exclusively from sheep wool sourced from healthy, living sheep raised under certified organic farming conditions in Austria. From the raw material to the finished product, I place great importance on ecological sustainability and animal welfare. Every step – from sourcing and processing to environmentally conscious packaging – is carried out in cooperation with local Austrian businesses. Some of my products are even available completely packaging-free in support of the ZERO-WASTE movement.
Personal Approach and International Presence
Despite being a small one-person business, I have succeeded in offering my high-quality products not only in Austria, but also in selected stores abroad. This allows me to preserve the personal touch and high quality of my products while gradually reaching a wider international audience.

I am proud to have been nominated for the Energy Globe Award 2019 and the riz up GENIUS Award 2021. These recognitions encourage and confirm my commitment to sustainability and innovative solutions in the field of organic wool production.
